The genius loci of the place is evident at first glance: industrial architecture from 1914, monumental halls, and original technical details. The revitalization of the complex was initiated by Rudolf Kasper, owner of KASPER GROUP, on whose land in Trutnov–Poříčí the building stands.
The gallery opened to the public in May 2023. We specialize in monumental contemporary art—sculptures, installations, and site-specific projects. We are building a permanent collection of young Czech artists; the facility also includes a café and an educational program.

In May 2023, the five-story building on the eastern edge of Trutnov opened to the public for the very first time. By then, the functional section had been completed, providing timeless spaces for sculptures and installations of extraordinary scale—the kind that simply won't fit into other Czech galleries. The high-quality renovation of these generous, high-ceilinged interiors gives exhibiting artists the space they need, while offering visitors and the professional community a unique experience with contemporary visual art.
The conversion of the original Poříčí 1 power plant is being recognized by the expert jury of a long-running competition focused on preserved cultural monuments and sites.
