Josef Rauvolf’s lecture on the Beat Generation, a fundamental, not only literary movement of the second half of the 20th century. The lecture will introduce not only the phenomenon of the Beat Generation as such, but also the individual protagonists: Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs and others, their often turbulent lives and provocative works. There will also be video and audio excerpts. Josef Rauvolf is a translator of these authors and their leading expert.
