Creature represents the largest exhibition project of sculptor Ladislav Vlna to date. The industrial Turbine Hall EPO1 creates an environment that goes far beyond the traditional concept of a sculptural exhibition. The installation is composed as a scenographically constructed whole, which can be perceived linearly, as a story of creation, or fragmentarily, through individual works, each of which conveys its own message.

Vlna explores figures as an entity in process, as the body, shape and trace of will. His works oscillate between expressive modelling and raw materiality, between torso and whole, between destruction and care. The exhibition addresses the concept of creature as a living, moving being and as a sculptural creation, reflecting both the struggle with matter and spiritual transcendence.

Tvor (Creation) is not just an exhibition of sculptures. It is a spatial statement about the tension between what is being created and what is falling apart. About existence that is never definitive. About matter that breathes. The exhibition is part of the long-term EPO1 programme, which aims to present contemporary sculpture as a living, dialogical and environmentally perceived whole.
