The intermedial exhibition of the HOMO_DIGITALIS_3.2.1 (Petr Profen Mareš and Martina Kopecká Jurčeková with their team) art group explores the boundaries of art, science and technology in an era of rapid acceleration in artificial intelligence. In this context, the ancient oracle, the voice of divination, is transformed into a digital prophecy generated by ‘creative algorithms’ that herald the modern myth of the coming of the Singularity, the dawn of Hyperintelligence and the birth of the Metahuman.
The AI ORACULUM – The Future Is Now! exhibition explores the artists’ work with AI aesthetics, transhumanist philosophy, and the social and environmental impact of new technologies. The installation combines generative AI tools, audiovisual projections, holographic objects, VR interfaces and digital waste to create a complex, imaginative and immersive environment in which the visitor finds themselves between two poles – a utopian dream of a ‘virtual paradise’ and a dystopian vision of a cyber-apocalypse.
The future is now, but what kind of future it is? It depends on what prophecies we are willing to listen to.
